Cloud Factory has completed the sale of its hosting business to Curanet, a team.blue company. The deal includes Cloud Factory’s portfolio of approximately 100 Danish hosting partners.
- It is also about sharpening our strategic focus: from being both a distributor and vendor to becoming a dedicated, international cloud distributor, says Jacob Schaumann Schmidt, CEO at Cloud Factory.
A smooth transition for hosting partners
The transition has been carefully planned to ensure continuity and support. Hosting partners will now be served by Curanet and ScanNet (both part of team.blue) and will be guided seamlessly through the migration process.
- Handing over our hosting business was not an easy decision. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built with the support of our Danish IT partners, and deeply grateful for the trust and collaboration over the years, says Jacob Schaumann Schmidt.
Accelerating international expansion
With the sale completed, Cloud Factory is now fully focused on accelerating its international footprint in cloud distribution. New cloud brands will be added to the portfolio as well as new offices in Hamburg and Helsinki.
